The NSW Health RTO's Diploma of Nursing program is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council. The program is delivered by Sydney Local Health District. Upon graduation, students are eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

The course is delivered over 18 months and includes theory and professional experience placements. This will enable students to progressively develop the required knowledge and skills for safe enrolled nursing practice.

Students study enrolled nursing practice across a range of different settings, clinical areas, patient age groups and health conditions. The program is taught by NSW Health clinical educators with the relevant qualifications, knowledge and experience and in simulated and real clinical environments.
