Respiratory Protection Program

With the emergence of global infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), there is an increasing need to ensure that health workers and students are able to work safely and are protected against exposure to respiratory pathogens.

Personal Protective Equipment is an important component of a risk management program to prevent potential exposure to COVID-19 and other viruses. Students attending placements in specific areas or conducting specific activities will be required to be fit tested for a P2/N95 respirator.

It is the Education Provider's responsibility to undertake or ensure fit testing for students.
